Significant changes to the VAT regime begin to take place in early 2010. Together with the increase in standard rate VAT on 1 January 2010, HMRC is introducing a series of changes to the rules on cross-border supplies.
Plus, April 2010 sees the first step in the phasing out of paper VAT returns.
